Work equipment stolen from vehicles in Castleford.

Work equipment and power tools were stolen from vehicles in Castleford in the early hours of Thursday 19 February. These occurred at Lisheen Grove and Glebe Street.

Stolen items included a green ambulance bag containing equipment and a quantity of power tools including an angle grinder, circular saw and drill batteries.

Please remain vigilant and take the following precautions:

Always lock your vehicle, even when parked on your driveway.

Do not leave any items visible inside your vehicle.

Always double check that you have locked your vehicle by trying the door handle.

Be aware that unfolded electric wing mirrors may indicate an unlocked vehicle, which offenders actively look for.

Remember that offences can occur anywhere, including car parks,  roadsides and driveways.

 

Report any suspicious activity to the police and inform your neighbours.
